Keynote speaker: Dr David Lewis
What you need to know about your customers’ brains that they don’t know themselves.
Dr David Lewis is a specialist in the subconscious influences that direct human behaviour, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and of the International Stress Management Association and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. He is founder and Chairman of Mindlab International, a university based research organisation dedicated to investigating the role of the unconscious in daily life.
An award winning broadcaster and author, his most recent books include Impulse: Why We Do What We Do Without Knowing Why We do It; and The Brain Sell: When Science Met Shopping.
John Donnellan, Canon
The inside track on how a global company optimises consumer sites for different countries and cultures.
For the last 2 years John has been tasked with helping Canon transform itself from a manufacturer and wholesaler of cameras, respected by the pros and consumers alike, to a direct-to-home retailer. John has pioneered many new service offerings and approaches to online sales growth, helped by a specialist internal team and a roster of world-class agencies.
Originally a trained accountant, he has years of experience of leading change through e-commerce and especially conversion optimisation. Ton is founder of Online Dialogue – thought leaders in evidence-based growth. He is also the founder of one of the biggest online optimisers meetup groups in Europe, hosting Digital Data Tips Tuesdays and the famous Conversion Hotel conference in the Netherlands.
Ton has almost 20 years of experience in digital optimisation and with his team he helps and trains companies throughout the world on being effective at data driven growth. Besides being a consultant and an entrepreneur he is also recognised worldwide as an influential thinker, writer and public speaker on conversion optimisation and A/B testing.

Shahina is a Senior Analytics Solutions Consultant at Merkle|Periscopix. With a background in Web Development and Psychology, she works with clients to understand not only the performance of their website, but also user behaviour, through using UX heuristics to determine why pain points exist.
She specialises in effectively implementing solutions through Optimization platforms, such as Optimizely, VWO and Google Optimize, enabling the delivery of technically advanced experiments.
Shahina will be walking through Google Optimize - the free tool and 360 - and the benefits of its native integration with Google Analytics.
