What is it?

Enhanced Ecommerce is a feature of Google’s superb Universal Analytics application. It gives you detailed information about every action your customer takes leading up to making a purchase, including returns for a refund. Even better, it serves up this information in smart, easy-to-understand charts. It completely transforms your ability to make informed business and marketing decisions.

We strongly recommend Enhanced Ecommerce is implemented via Google Tag Manager. This will require an initial migration of Google Analytics to Google Tag Manager if you’re not already using it.

How do I know this is for me?

You have an ecommerce website and you are keen to extract as much insight from your visitors as possible.

What do I get?

Working either with your developers, or ours, we will put together a detailed technical plan to develop a dataLayer (the dataLayer is an additional tracking feature placed on every page of your website which is needed to capture the additional data Enhanced Ecommerce captures).

We will then work with the developer to ensure the dataLayer is installed and tracking correctly and that the data is then being reported correctly within Google Analytics.

You will then be able to see and start using the amazing charts and data about your customer journeys.
